A few words from the producer / orchestrator:

This song took me many, many years to release. It’s one of my favorite songs I’ve sung since I was a kid.

It is an amazing creation by Bakalis Babis and Kaldaras Apostolos.

It was sung by the greatest Greek singer Stelios Kazantzidis. For this reason I did not dare to have a singer and I preferred the orchestral point of view. What Stelios Kazatntzidis has sung … no one sing again. I was not in a hurry to finish the production because I had conceived something so specific that I wanted it to be rendered accurately. So the musicians recorded their parts at different times with long distances between them.

I thank the best Greek violinist, George Maglaras for his musical contribution. Lina, Angela, Olga for their celestial vocals. Giorgos Kontogiannis for the strings and Andreas Papas for the percussion.

I dedicate it to the memory of Giannis Zentelis who played bass and guitar and helped me with the earlier recordings.
